Jehoshua is on the throne of David in New Jerusalem and He is the King of a New Israel
The Kingdom of Jehoshua Messiah vs. The beast government, a battle that has been raging for 2,000 years is coming to a head quickly as we see the beast government growing more and more hostile to the Messiah and His Kingdom.
The culmination of this battle takes place in Revelation 19 which fulfills a Davidic prophecy in Psalm chapter 2. It's important to understand that the State and the Kingdom are at odds naturally so that we make a clear line of demarcation and remain on the right side of that line. It's also important to understand that this battle between the State and the Kingdom only intensifies and becomes more violent the closer we come to the Lord Jehoshua's second advent. Sadly many professing Christians/Messianics/Hebrew roots folks are siding with the State in this war and will continue to do so during the mark of the beast crisis thereby losing out on eternal life and the Kingdom of heaven. We this especially apparent during the so called coronavirus situation where these so called believers are actually siding with the State in the State's demand that Christians not assemble for fellowship. Of course this should be no surprise as Jehoshua said when He returns to the earth will He find faith? Also, He said the road to the Kingdom of heaven is narrow and few find it. Psalm 2:1-3 1 Why do the nations rage, And the peoples meditate a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against Jehovah, and against his anointed, [saying], 3 Let us break their bonds asunder, And cast away their cords from us. Western Christians in general and American Christians in particular often forget that the very kings, presidents and countries they seek fellowship with and favor from are against their God and against their Messiah. Right off the bat the State government (Rome and Israel) were conspiring against Jehovah God and His only begotten Son Jehoshua, the Messiah. The apostolic church attributed the fulfillment of these 3 verses in Psalm 2 to the persecution of the Son of God by Herod representing the Jews and the State religion of Israel and Pontius Pilate representing the Gentile Roman empire. We see this played out in Jehoshua's life throughout His ministry and then intensifying as the time approached for Him to die on the cross. Matthew chapters 26 and 27 and Luke chapters 22 and 23 detail all this. We actually see the State attempt to destroy the Messiah all the way back to His birth. John chapter 10 even portrays this as the religious Jews want to stone the Messiah. Jehoshua warned the apostles that they were gonna be hated by the world and brought before governors and turned over to the synagogues which are the State churches. Matthew 10:16-19 16Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.17But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;18And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.19But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. Jehoshua's church are sent forth as sheep in the midst of wolves to preach the gospel of the Kingdom. We are to be wise as serpents concerning who we are dealing with when sent out. We are not to be like those in the mainstream Church who put government on a pedestal and almost idolize presidents and the military. Jehoshua tells the apostles to beware of those who would turn them over to the church councils who would then scourge them. Jehoshua was prophesying over them as this would ultimately be fulfilled after He ascended to heaven. This however has an application for Christians of all generations. For example the Anabaptists were turned over to the Protestant and Catholic Church elders and subsequently scourged by beatings, imprisonment, burning at the stake and drowning. In verse 18 Jehoshua says that they will also be brought before the State government such as kings and governors for His sake. This shows that the State is inherently against the Son of God namely because almost everything He stands for is against their principles. Christians will be brought before the State magistrates specifically because of their allegiance to Jehoshua showing that the State is naturally at odds with the Messiah. Something about their allegiance to the Messiah brings them into suspicion before the State. Rather than give in to the State government, Jehoshua says we are not to be anxious for anything but rely on the Spirit of the Father for the words to speak. What's amazing is that Jehoshua says our very own families will turn us over to the State to be persecuted as just a few verses later He says: Matthew 10:21-23 21And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.22And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.23But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. This passage not only applies to the apostles but Christians of all time as history has clearly shown. As we approach the second advent of Jehoshua we will see a tremendous increase of division amongst family members. This division will not just be the normal family squabbles about the faith but it will lead to betrayal and parents giving up their children to the authorities to be put to death and children doing the same to their parents. One side will give their loyalty to the State beast system and the other side will give their loyalty to the Messiah's Kingdom. Jehoshua says that we will be hated by all nations for His name. Christians will be hated because of their undying loyalty to the Davidic King. They will be hated by the State governments of the whole world. The governments of the world will more and more demand God like worship from their citizens as we get closer to the great and terrible day of Jehovah God. Jehoshua also warns us that we are to expect persecution including being called demonic names. Matthew 10;24-26 24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. 25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household? 26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. We should not be surprised nor discouraged when we are called all kinds of evil names by those in the world as they did the same to Jehoshua who is our Lord. The State and those loyal to it will accuse us of all manner of evil and blame us for the ills of society. Since Jehoshua had to suffer persecution at the hands of the rulers of the earth (Psalm 2), we will to as we are not above Him. Here is the encouragement from Jehoshua, He says we are not to fear them. When it comes down to obeying Jehovah God or obeying the State, we are to obey God without any fear of repercussions from the authorities. Those who side with the State in their war against the Kingdom are also not to be feared as we are to boldly stand for the truth of the gospel even when they call us all sorts of names or threaten us with violence. Today's Christians are being trained to appease the government authorities and those of the world by not taking a bold stand for truth and giving in to the government even when it means disobeying God. Whatever the State persecutors of God's church does or says to us in the dark secret places we are to rest assured that all will be revealed and the saints will be given the Judgement and vindicated in Jehovah's court. Matthew 10:27-28 27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. 28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Jehoshua exhorts to speak loudly those things that He has taught us namely His teachings which is the gospel of the Kingdom. Even if the authorities and powers of the State demand that we not preach we are to shout the truth of Jehoshua's doctrine from the rooftops. We are to preach in the daytime and do it loud and visibly. While the enemies of the Church may threaten us we are not to fear them as the most they can do is kill our bodies but afterwards do nothing else. Jehoshua says to fear God only as He is the only one who can cast us into the lake of fire. In verses 29-31 Jehoshua exhorts us not to fear as our Heavenly Father knows every detail about us and if He values the sparrows to the point He knows when one falls to the ground how much more does He value us who are of far more value. Matthew 10:32-33 32Every one therefore who shall confess me before men, him will I also confess before my Father who is in heaven.33But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father who is in heaven. Remember, this is within the context of being brought before councils, churches and governors and kings. We will be asked to give a testimony of the Son of God due to the betrayal suffered at the hands of our own family members. The testimony we will have to give will be one where we profess absolute loyalty to Jehoshua Messiah and His Kingdom. We will have to deny the State's authority to try and get us to stop preaching in the name of the Messiah and their attempt to get us to break God's commandments. We will also be required to profess allegiance to God and His only begotten Son Jehoshua and deny giving allegiance to the government and their rulers. Matthew 10:35-36 34 Think not that I came to send peace on the earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.35 For I came to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law: 36 and a man`s foes [shall be] they of his own household. Many false Pastors keep screaming "peace, peace" even in times of obvious peril yet Jehoshua Himself said He came to bring a sword of division and not peace. Jehoshua makes it clear that He didn't come to bring peace on the earth. The false prophets of Christendom cry for world peace which is against Jehoshua's will. The false religious leaders and those in State government effort for world unity and peace but again they are working against Jehoshua Messiah who wants division on the earth. How come you don't hear this in Churches? Because it is not a popular message and most Pastors today are hirelings more concerned with not offending people so they can keep their method of living which is a paid salary. Jehoshua makes it clear that the division He brings even separates family members, even a father against his son and mother against her daughter and a man's enemies will be those of his own household. Why is this not preached from the rooftops by Pastors? Instead they preach the opposite and blame those who are sold out for the Kingdom for being bad husbands, bad wives, bad parents, bad children. They even shame them and ostracize them yet Jehoshua esteems the one who hates the lives of his or her family members and does not side with these sellout Pastors who give the false message of peace between family members at the cost of completely following Jehoshua. Jehoshua knew that some in one family would follow Him and others would not. He doesn't rebuke the family members that forsake and leave behind their other family who don't want to pick up their cross but He rebukes the one who uses family as an excuse to not labor for the Kingdom and completely devote one's life to the cause of the Kingdom. Matthew 10:37-38 37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me .38And he that doth not take his cross and follow after me, is not worthy of me. Those who love their parents more than Jehoshua or even their own children are not worthy of Him. They are not worthy to bear the name "Christian". While many would deny they love their parents or children more than Jehoshua their actions say otherwise. They will allow so called family commitments to keep them from being single-minded about the Kingdom and picking up their cross to follow the Son of God. They do this in the way they live, they strive to climb up the corporate ladder in order to provide the material possessions this life has to offer to their wife and children. They work overtime a lot just to make sure their kids go to college, yet the preaching and laboring for the Kingdom gets left behind because they have been brainwashed by the world that success in this life is what counts and thereby as Jehoshua says: Matthew 10:39 "He that findeth his life shall lose it; and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it." Don't think you can have both, the earthly success in this life, the gain of material possessions and the love of your family members life in this world and the Kingdom of God. That is impossible as Jehoshua says those who find their life in this world will lose it in the age to come in the Kingdom of Heaven. However, those who hate the lives of their wife, daughter, father, mother, son will gain it in the Kingdom of God via eternal life. How do we hate the lives of our family members? We pick up our cross daily and follow the Son of God whithersoever He goes being single-minded about the Kingdom of God. This means we don't build our treasures here on earth but rather in heaven. We don't strive for corporate success, we don't put so called family commitments before the commandments of the Son of God such as sports, family gatherings, over working to put our kids in colleges that will only attempt to poison their minds anyways with their vain philosophies of men. What does Jehoshua say about apostates and lukewarm so called Christian's that take their hand off the plow and look back: Luke 9:62 "But Jehoshua said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God." These are the words of Jehoshua Messiah, the Davidic King. Don't let any of these lukewarm Christians fool you, Jehoshua meant exactly what He said. Amazingly, the Messiah said these words to a man that when told to follow Him (Jehoshua) responded that he had to bury his father first. See, this is what Jehoshua meant when He said to hate the life of your family members that even a funeral or taking care of a near death loved one is not to be used as a reason for not following the Son of God and laboring for the Kingdom. Of course, Jehoshua knew that this man's father had other relatives to take care of him or bury him but the absolute loyalty and commitment that Jehoshua demands from us is plainly evident in this passage (Luke 9:57-62). In verse 60 of that passage Jehoshua says: "But he said unto him, Leave the dead to bury their own dead; but go thou and publish abroad the kingdom of God" See, we are not to let even important family matters such as burying a family member keep us from preaching (publishing) the Kingdom of God. Those who begin a faith walk with Messiah and at any point in their walk look back because of so called family commitments are not fit for the Kingdom of God. My friends, true Christianity is not for the faint of heart as it requires self denial and a daily cross. It requires us to disobey the State when they ask us to transgress the teachings of the Son of God and to not preach and gather in His name. It requires us to lay down our lives and to put even important family matters and relationships at the back burner, even giving them up altogether, so that we can preach the gospel of the Kingdom. It requires us to disobey the so called State churches when they try to get us to go along with government mandates that go against the commandments of God and His Son Jehoshua.
